چکیده
Cutaneous larva migrans (CLM) is a dermo-epidermal parasitic infection with disproportionate incidence in developing countries, particularly in, and near tropical areas. It characterized by erythematous, twisting, linear plaques that can migrate to adjacent skin. Herein, we present an otherwise healthy 45-year-old woman who acquired pruritic, serpiginous rash localized her right medial ankle during trip New England. Oral ivermectin, the preferred first-line treatment for cutaneous migrans, was administered combination triamcinolone. This followed removal of papular area via punch biopsy; successful one-week recovery. Although has traditionally been considered disease, clinicians should be cognizant its expanding geographic spread.

Freezing the leading edge of the skin track rarely works. Topical treatment of the affected ...

We report a case of a 37-year-old Iranian man who had cutaneous larva migrans afte...
